Director of Cooperation and Programme implementation department /Mongolian Red Cross Society

Mongolian Red Cross Society seeks to hire a highly motivated professional to oversee international 

relationships and sustainable development. 

Key responsibilities:

•  Develop proposals and concept notes to funding national societies and agencies ;
•  Assume overall responsibility for the management of  core programmes, including; disaster management, public health, social care and red cross ;
•  Ensure effective and efficient programme management including coordination of activities, planning, monitoring and  evaluation, and financial and results reporting;
•  Motivate and integrate the interdisciplinary teams toward achieving the project’s objectives;
•  Oversee capacity building of staff and partner institutions ;

Requirements:

•  Strong management skills and ability to coordinate an important and challenging development project;
•  Capacity to lead the project coordination units (four teams ) and interact effectively with the project stakeholders;
•  Minimum 5 years of progressively increasing responsibilities in management and/or leadership roles;
•  Advanced degree in Public policy and project management or related field;
•  Proven in-depth experience in project cycle management ;
•  Strong results orientation;
•  Strong communication skills, including proficiency in English (verbal and written)
•  Commitment to travel  frequently to the country side
